Some children do not: Appear 2 b depressed or r afraid 2 let anyone know that they r unhappy. This is very common when there is abuse or neglect happening at home. They are afraid 2 let others know something is wrong and do not want 2 get their parents in trouble. They also may not know that life could b any different. They find ways 2 cope and try not 2 feel sadness. So later in life they realize they are depressed.
