Lifestyle: Hi. Healthy lifestyle should be life-long (ergo, the "life" in lifestyle). One week of eating right does't make up for a lifetime of unhealthy average American diet. Eat a healthy diet for life, and exercise regularly for life. Running is great for you, but data are mixed on effects on weight loss. But still, if you're just starting a healthy lifestyle, over time you probably will lose weight.
