Ask the surgeon: This and all your other questions should be asked of the surgeon who will be treating you. He\she knows your medical history, difficulty of procedure, anesthesia used, etc.

Depends: The more difficult the extractions, the more discomfort afterwards. Direct correlation! follow the post-op directions they will give you and you will be fine.
