UTI during delivery: Potentially but very unlikely, particularly if you are being treated. This is a theoretical consideration rather than a proven reality, but your obstetrician should be told about your symptoms before the scheduled time of induction. Good luck and have a great baby.

UTI and pregnancy: No, it won't hurt your baby by its self but any time you are ill your baby is at risk. There is always the potential for a simple UTI if left untreated especially in pregnancy to infect the kidneys and thus become more severe. This infection known as pyelonephritis does put your baby at risk. Please see your OB about treating your uti. And good luck with your delivery!
