Im 39 weeks pregnant and think i have a uti. i'm scheduled to be induced in 3 days. can a uti harm my baby while giving birth vaginally?

UTI and pregnancy: No, it won't hurt your baby by its self but any time you are ill your baby is at risk. There is always the potential for a simple UTI if left untreated especially in pregnancy to infect the kidneys and thus become more severe. This infection known as pyelonephritis does put your baby at risk. Please see your OB about treating your uti. And good luck with your delivery!
