Other options: A more rigid splint or even a cast can be helpful for stubborn tfcc tears. These may take 6-12 months to fully heal, so patience is key. A corticosteroid injection can relieve symptoms, but i would avoid repetitive injections in this area. Surgery can be effective if conservative/nonsurgical measures fail.
