A member asked:

Tfcc injured. after 2 months with a splint i can do pushups without pain. is this a good thing? still hurts when i rotate my hand to the limit.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Wrist injuries: The splint immobilized your wrist and allowed scar tissue to help heal it. Your wrist seems to be healing, based on your ability to do pushups. See your physician or physical therapy for further evaluation of the hand rotation. If the wrist is unstable but you don't want surgery, then the surgeon may put a cast on your wrist and forearm. http://www.orthobullets.com/hand/6047/tfcc-injury
