A member asked:

Is hypnosis real or fake? if it is real, how is it possible for people to fall in to this spell to become and do things they normally do not do?

It can be very real: People can fake things, but - especially licensed therapeutic hypnosis - is very real and often effective. Things not normally done are not = to things morally offensive. Types of resistance are lower, but not moral/ethical discrimination. The process happens to some degree every day. Being very absorbed in reading, music, fantasy, etc. Is similar. Only the 'guide' of the suggestions is different.

Hypnosis is real: Hypnosis is real but does not involve a spell. It is a relaxed state where you are more open to suggestion. But you won't do anything you don't want to do.
