See below: Endometrial cells are what make up the uterine lining, so this is a normal comment. If on the other hand, you are having abnormal bleeding (as a reason for the ultrasound that you had performed) and there are endometrial cells on a pap smear, then you definitely need further evaluation of the uterine lining to rule out pre-cancerous changes called hyperplasia.
