Not really: Four months after is too long, as you would have had some symptoms long ago if any retained placenta was in you. The inflammation in your colpo biopsy refers to your cervical/uterine cells, and not any retained placenta products. Best wishes.

Retained products: yes, you can have retained products remain in the uterus for quite awhile, and be asymptomatic. usually that is if there isn't much retained tissue. Larger amounts of retained tissue can cause bleeding. The uterine (endometrial) lining would have to be sampled to be sure this is what it is.
