It depends: Nobody knows what lupus actually is, so it's diagnosed by criteria. http://www.rheumtutor.com/2012-slicc-sle-criteria/ i need to give you 2 heads-up -- homogeoneous ANA pattern may be a lab error, and people who think they have lupus but don't meet the criteria tend to have a favorable prognosis. Wishing you the best -- the "brain fog" does make me think of lupus. Be strong ; stay proactive.
