One size: Does not fit all, although we all have some degree of anxiety with loss of control. If your doc is ok with twilight it sounds like a good choice. Try not to second guess your choice. Peace and good health.

I think that : Patients with panic disorder do better with an anesthesiologist. Your pharmacological needs may not allow for a safe twilight anesthetic. If an anesthesiologist is present, he can safely advance you to a deeper state of consciousness.

I think so, : You will receive versed, a strong anxiolytic that can be given prior and will last after. It will also block any memory of the event. Propofol would put you to sleep but unless you are given something else you would have anxiety otherwise. Propofol also requires special skills to administer also. A nurse can administer the versed.
