Should be long gone: First, congratulations on your "clean" colonoscopy. To answer your questions, midazolam and propofol are what we consider "short-acting" medications. The effect of these medications would only last for up to several hours after your procedure. You should not have any residual drug effect at this time. As far as the anti-nausea medication goes, they usually last for 4-8 hours after a single dose.
