Yes it can: If low sodium is treated too rapidly, it can cause a condition called central pontine myelinolysis. If your headache is persisting, you should see a neurologist. A ct scan, particularly if it were done early in the course of your treatment, might not show any changes, and an MRI might be needed. I strongly urge you to get an immediate appt with a neurologist or go to er for more urgent consult.
