Probably dry: Prominent conjunctival vessels usually are an indication of ocular dryness, wind, dust, other environmental exposures. Allergies ; the treatment of them can also make your eyes red. Inflammations ; infections would have obvious associated issues besides redness (pain, discharge, sensitivity). You can try lubricating eye drops like refreshâ„¢ optive 3-6 times per day to see if helps. An eye exam need.

Red eyes: Are a non-specific finding which are very common. They may be related to contact lens use, exposure to eye irritants, allergies, dry eyes, sunlight exposure, etc. There is no specific cure for red eyes, other than trying to reduce the exposure to the cause of the redness. Try to avoid using "get the red out" drops, since you can become dependent on them.
