Tecta: Tecta (panttoprazole) is a proton pump inhibitor that is useful for chronic heartburn. Not to sure natural remedies are as helpful.

Hello, I have been taking Tecta for 7 days for GERD without any improvement for now. However, Pepcid and Tums are really helpful and sharply reduces the heartburn. Is there anything to be worried about regarding Tecta not working?
Can Plavix cause persistent heartburn in a person with stroke, heart atrack and GERD treated with Protonix (pantoprazole)?
Should a person on tecta for GERD (4 week rx) resume eating what they like, now that the pain is gone? Or should they take it easy throughout the rx?
