Hmmm: I usually like to see a heartbeat at six weeks or later, in fact, over 100 BPM is best after six weeks. If there was no heartbeat this time, i'd feel more comfortable getting an ultrasound sooner than 11 weeks, just for peace of mind. Really, even if your dates are off, there should be a heartbeat within a week or so. Good luck!

A little concerning: More information needed but if a fetal pole is present and can be measured, then a fetal heart beat should seen. If there is just a gestational sac with no fetal pole, then the size of the gestational sac matters. A gestational sac that measures 18mm should have fetus with a heartbeat and if not, then a miscarriage is most probable. Good luck.
