Nuts contain gd fats: Foods that are good fats, do not increase cholesterol. One's liver is what contributes to how cholesterol is handled in the body, not necessarily by diet. Cholesterol is the main building block that form our hormones, and steroid. So not having enough cholesterol is as much a problem, as having too much cholesterol. However eating nuts and apricots are not ways in which cholesterol is increased.
