Pediatrician?: Certainly a call to the pediatrician's office can do no harm...Might even get one in again for a look see....Having said that, there are some medications which themselves can elevate core body temperature. Secondly, the antibiotics may not be sensitive enough to what they were originally tempted to do.

Not really: It is not unusual to have this even if you are on antibiotics but if fever persists inspite of taking the antibiotics, than you have to talk to your doctor.That may mean the antibiotics are not effective and may need reconsideration.
