Hysterectomy: fever: If the surgery was done by abdominal incision, check the incision for redness and tenderness, and if present, contact your surgeon for an exam. If the surgery was done vaginally, the fever (now gone) may be unrelated to your surgery, but if it returns, see your surgeon for an evaluation.
