If your kid has fever over 101 and headache not relieved by tylenol (acetaminophen) within an hour and a half, call her doc or take her in. Otherwise, we usually wish to wait 72 hours for antibiotics to act. If fever after that time, definitely call or get seen. Your doc may differ, call!
