Not unusual: It is not unusual to have cough and cough up a little blood when you have sinusitis.Inflammation of the sinuses can be due to viral or bacterial infection.It can lead to increased mucus production and some blood can trickle down throat and you may cough up blood. There can be associated bronchits and/or pneumonia and that can also cause coughing up little blood as well get it checked if it persist.
