Variable: Kids are variable in their response to a particular med and no one product is the "gold" standard of efficiency. The speed of action, duration of effect and frequency of side effects also varies from one product to another.I like the non--sedating products like fexofenadine and loratadine, but for some benedryl is quicker and well tolerated.Trial and error helps decide for the individual kid.
