Can be either: Anaerobic exercise is an exercise intense enough to trigger Lactic Acid formation. It is not the specific exercise but the degree of exertions, etc. That determines whether the physical activity is aerobic or aerobic. Aerobic exercise is generally between 60 and 85% of maximum heart rate.
