A member asked:

Diharreah . 2 immodium. felt ok then cold signs , 37.5 temp1 day urin burn. throat pus and now tonsils pain doctor said its gastro viral is it hiv?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HIV: If you feel that there is any risk of having been exposed to hiv, either sexually or by needle sharing or other transfer of body tissues or fluids you need to go and be tested. Always better to be safe than sorry. The symptoms that you are having are probably not due to acute HIV disease, but there is no way to tell without being tested.
