A member asked:

If i have a burning in my lower throat but no signs of sores or hurting in mouth should i see a ent or let it past? been about 3 weeks now.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Throat burning: Do you smoke? Difficulty or painful swallowing? Change in your voice? Coughing? Any new medicines started in past month? 3 weeks is long enough to wait for a minor problem to resolve. Recommend see your primary care doctor first. If a referral to ENT is needed, it can be arranged.
