Concerning.: Iron and bismuth medications can cause black stool. Black tarry, malodorous stool can be due to gastrointestinal bleeding. Can't tell you if you have HIV issues - especially since you haven't been tested. See you take brufen - this can sometimes cause GI bleeding. Please seek prompt medical evaluation. Take care.
