A member asked:

What can i do when i go to "baby sit" an alheizmer's patient?

Conversation: Engage in conversation. Ask the patient about his life, family, experiences, childhood. Social interaction is beneficial and therapeutic. Distant memory stays much more intact than recent memory so discussing events that occurred in the past will be easier.
