Expert: Definitely, as you likely already know, septate uteri can cause infertility. You should definitely see an infertility specialist as they will give you an opinion as to whether or not surgery prior to trying to conceive is warranted. At 38, you dont' want to wait much longer, be aggressive in seeking assistance, good luck!

Minimal: You describe a septum if 10mm. Uterine septums can vary in length from minimal like yours, to very long and extending to the vagina. Generally, the longer the septum the higher the risk of recurrent miscarriage. In your case, the risk should be minimal.
