2 ways: One option is to have dry eyes, dry mouth, a positive ANA and a positive ss-a or ss-b antibody. The second option is to have a minor salivary gland biopsy with typical inflammation instead of the ss-a or ss-b antibody.

Sjogren's Syndrome: Chronic inflammatory condition with dryness of the eyes, mouth and other mucous membrane s. It may be autoimmune like rheumatoid arthritis and DX with the mentioned sx and antibodies.
