Prinzmetal Syndrome: While in general the outlook of patients with prinzmental's angina is quite good, this condition can cause serious problems. It can trigger dangerous and potentially fatal cardiac arrhythmias, especially ventricular fibrillation. And while heart attacks are uncommon, they can occur.
