Side effect: Dizziness is listed as a side effect of pristiq (desvenlafaxine). If you stood up too quickly after lying in bed for hours, your blood pressure may have dropped too low. As long as you felt better upon lying down and had no further lightedness or vertigo, you should be ok. Remember not to jump up too quickly after lying in bed. If symptoms persist, see your physician.
