A member asked:

Ana 4 months ago was positive 1:320 test repeated 3 times afterwards in 3 months with ana negative at 1:160 .all don in same lab what does that mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Why were you tested for ana? Lab test results can vary even within the same lab. The first result may have been an outlier.
