I have had a sore in my nose for a few months that won't go away. it has a scab and sometimes bleeds. do i need to see a doctor?

Sores in the : Usually heals better when treated with antibiotic ointment . If impetigo is present , you will need a script from your doctor for bactroban (mupirocin) or Mupirocin ointment . Clean your nose with saline solution and keep it moist with aquaphor ointment, vaseline or a;d ointment . It will bleed everytime the scabs come off, the seal is gone. Go see your doctor if this does not help.

Yes: Any non healing lesion should be evaluated and possibly biopsied. See an ENT specialist.
