Medication?: You indicated that you are on thyroxine. I have a feeling that you are taking thyroid medication that contains t3, such as Armour Thyroid or Cytomel (liothyronine). These medications will cause a high t3 and low T4 level, but the TSH will be normal. If the ft3 and ft4 levels were done correctly, they should not have been affected by your low protein problem.
