Congested: You may be allergic to something in your bedroom like a feather pillow or a down comforter. Other things that may be a problem are heavy drapes or curtains, your best approach would be to see an allergist for evaluation and treatment.

For early help: Regular use of a nasal saline rinse prior to bed and application of saline gel to both outer nasal openings can sometimes end the bleeding and reduce the congestion/swelling. Finding out what in your sleeping area triggers your symptoms and removing it is the best long term solution. (fragrances,dust mites in bedding, etc.)
