I bring up blood in my phlegm (not much phlegm) in the morning and notice it in my salvia sometimes before bed. no cough. temperature or any other symptoms. what could this mean or be..congested nose that passes after awakening if that's related ?

Hemoptysis: A small amount of blood in sputum (hemoptysis) or nasal fluids isn't necessarily abnormal. If it happens just once or twice and you're feeling well, probably nothing to worry about. But once in occurs a few times, and especially if it keeps happening, it needs professional evaluation to make sure it's not serious, and that it's not something that might bleed more seriously someday.
