Perimenopausal?: Endometrial ablation is not associated with vaginal dryness nor pain. It may seem a bit early, but it's not impossible for you to begin perimenopause, meaning the decreased function of your ovaries. The average woman experiences this at 51 but it can start at 43. You wouldn't know when it starts b/c you don't have periods with ablation, but it's possible. When did your mom go through menopause?
