Gynecologist: This question is best answered by your Gynecologist.Your uterus should be fully healed before you resume vaginal intercourse. A condom is recommended if you have intercourse with a partner whose sexual history and health status you are unsure of.

4-6 wks: Recommend no internal sex or receiving oral sex for 4-6 weeks. The uterus lining will be raw for weeks before healing. You don't want to introduce bacteria that can disrupt healing. Orgasm could potentially increase bleeding and I would recommend holding off for 2 weeks otherwise ok to participate in other forms of sexual activity.
