Is it normal to observe bleeding following an endometrial ablation one year ago?

No: Ablation is a safe and effective procedure and a good option for many women with excessive bleeding. A common "risk" is failure to work effectively.

Possible: An ablation results in no periods about 30-40% of the time. Most women do still have light to normal periods after an ablation. Many women will have a period of time after an ablation with nothing and then may begin having some periods again. They're almost always lighter than before the ablation.
