Time: Necrotizing pneumonia causes damage to the lung complicated by bleeding, edema, and scarring. Unfortunately, the lung is one of the body's organs that does not regenerate. When damage occurs, the tissue is replaced by scar tissue. Afterward, breathing can improve by aggressive respiratory care, exercise, and time.
