Gestational Sac Size: The number of weeks might not necessarily matter as much as the size of the sac. It's possible that your supposed conception date might be off and you may be 4 weeks in which case it could be totally appropriate to have just a sac; what truly matters is the size of the sac. A sac >2.5cm should definitely have an embryo next to it, otherwise a miscarriage is to be expected. Otherwise we wait.
