See a dermatologist: Bring with you every pill and every cream you use. There are hundreds of possible diagnoses. You probably need tests. Antihistamine will do nothing for you unless you have hives.

Dry skin: The most common cause is dry skin especially during the winter and dry months. Avoid all scented soap and apply a good skin moisturizer within minutes after bathing. If these measures failed, consult a dermatologist.

Itching require eval: Itching can be caused by something external or internal. Dry skin, eczema, bug bites ; other infestations can lead to itching; but so too can liver, thyroid and kidney disease. Best to see a physician and get a proper work up including appropriate lab work!
