Explore the triggers: IBS has a multitude of possible causes. If you explore some you could avoid, it may improve. Gluten sensitivity or wheat allergy is a common trigger. Cross reactivity to a variety of lesser food sensitivities . food additives like #40 red dye are all avoidable. There are a variety of blood tests that can help narrow the list of possibles.A primary care doc can arrange them.
