Confirmation: Are you sure the blood is from your rectum and not from your period? If from the rectum see your doctor extremely soon like yesterday.

See doctor: Rectal bleeding is not normal in a young person. You want to have a physical exam done, so the doctor can determine the cause of the bleed. Plus, s/he may need to order labs to make sure you aren't anemic too, depending on the amount of blood loss. They will be able to tell if you have hemorrhoids or something else. You can get relief immediately by seeing your doctor.

You could have: Endometriosis which is endometrial tissue ( uterine lining tissue) inside your colon and it responds to your monthly hormones and bleeds like your uterus does monthly. If it is not regular monthly bleeding it could be something else. At any rate it is very important to see a GI doc as soon as you can.
