See your doctor!: Painless rectal bleeding is most often hemorrhoids but this is way too much bleeding, over too long a time, to attribute to hemorrhoids. You did not mention how old your are but you should have an anorectal examination and a colonoscopy to determine exactly what is causing the bleeding. The the right thing can be done
