Sinus congestion: From colds or allergies causing swelling and inflammation of your turbinates , nasal passageways , worst when laying down. Much improved when you are up and about in the upright position during the daytime or when you prop yourself up with some pillows at night. Ask your doctor for some medications to relieve the congestion.
