Variable: Depends on the underlying disease process, and individual factors. Some people get near immediate benefits (within 48 hours) while others take a week or slightly more. 2-3 wks.: The bronchodilator part of advair may work in 30-45 minutes, the steroid part takes about 2 to 3 weeks to get optimal effects if your asthma is responsive to steroid.
