30 f. sob all the time.worse at night. have had echos ekgs spirometry xrays bloodwork. normal. low vit d. peak flow will fluctuate ex. pef 517 2.97 fev1 then at night 486 pef 2.70 fev1. could this be asthma? heart related? what tests should be done?

Hyperventilation?: Keeping tight around your mouth & breath into a paper bag for 10 to 15 mins and if by breathing back in CO2 your symptoms subside the diagnosis of hyperventilation is likely and help with anxiety is indicated.

Pulmonology: A Spirometry test pre and post administration of a Bronchodilator can measure bronchial reactivity. The other aspect is exposure to allergens while sleeping. Wash linens, bedding and pillow in hot water, keep the bedroom dust free and vacuum the area. A review of potential causes should be further evaluated by your Pulmonary specialist.
