Ignore: Do tell your sexual partners if you have genital warts. Do use condoms. Do get treated by a doctor.

Ignore: Genital warts can be prevented with the use of the hpv vaccine prior to the age of onset of sex.

Ignore: Gardisil is a vaccine that prevents hpv 6, 11, 16, 18 infection, that cause genital warts and cancer.

Ignore: Do see a DR with experience, usually a dermatologist. Don't get withdrawn. They can be cured.

Ignore: If you are under 30 and have cervical HPV there is a good chance your body will clear it by itself.

Ignore: Painless growths that can be transmitted to partner. Condoms do not protect you. HPV vaccine!

Ignore: Don't try over the counter wart removers on genital warts.Do get treatment if painful,itchy,burning.

Ignore: There are treatments for genital warts- see a doc for help. There's even a vaccine to help prevent!

Ignore: If you are treated, don't have sex w/ your partner until they are treated. You will get reinfected.

Ignore: Do seek treatment with doctor (LN2 and cautery) Do try topical prescriptions Do use protections.
