I had an abnormal pap and know my doctor recommends a colonoscopy. why would this recommended?

If there is Cx: Cancer, assessing bladder and rectum part of staging, in that invasion of either upstages, changes treatment options. Speak with gyn-onc about your DX and your treatment options. If not invasive cervix, no clear reason for bowel look at 20, unless they detected blood.
